Finding the Main Idea

The reader must Encompass the text AND besides Make CONNECTIONS within the content to FIND OVERARCHING IDEAS. The reader must too RECOGNIZE and Condone NONESSENTIAL INFORMATION.

Principal Idea Worksheet 2

Hither is another double-sided main idea worksheet. This worksheet features vi more original nonfiction passages for your students to analyze. Students read the passages, disregard nonessential data, limited the main idea, and call back of a title for each passage related to the main idea. Suggested reading level for this text: Grade 7-11.
