Get Real Tuesday: Behind the Scenes

Because, in my heed, Tuesdays are the day that I really just let it all hang out, I have a little Backside the Scenes update to share with you but how fancy things are effectually here lately. Read: Not at all fancy. Not at all.

I mean, at that place'south certainly no shortage of colorful ice cream sandwiches, but there'southward also the occasional fur ball tumbleweed that gently floats into said water ice cream sandwiches because I haven't swept the flooring in over a calendar week.

That said, here are a few photos that capture a little bit more than of the realness that goes on behind the scenes.

Sure, he's beautiful and cuddly, but he besides sheds a lot. So, information technology's kind of a trade off. Every bit evidenced a petty bit further down in this post.

Oh, what? That little hole in the wall that I didn't finish up before my office makeover shoot. Yep, that's no trouble. I'll only tape a piece of artwork over information technology. See. Problem solved.Don't worry. I've since put the plastic protective plate over this hole. So it'south dainty and safety now. Hope.

When you lot need your burrow to face a certain way (in the name of natural light), but the wall behind the couch is in shadow, you go ahead and fake it with a giant properties lath.Run across the material tutorial for this pillow here.

Extra glamour points for the broom handles in this photo (on the far right before photograph). See, I have a broom. I only don't utilize information technology much.

And finally…the fur tumbleweed scenario….If you look closely, y'all can run into 'em piling up to the right, past the stairs. Yep, that's how I roll. I accept three animals roaming the halls (and stairways) around here. Plenty said.Recipe for these stroopwafel ice cream sandwiches here.
